Student Package
Every year we survey our students to find out what they think of the Academy. It is a time for our students to have a voice and let us know about changes and additions they would like to see. It is through this survey that we make changes to course material, implement new ideas and generally improve our service to our students. In our last survey, conducted in December 2012, when asked if they would recommend the Academy 100% of our students said ‘Yes’. We believe this speaks for itself.
When you become a student with the Academy you will receive many benefits that are exclusive to UKAWEP. We have worked hard to partner with many industry professionals from all over the world to give you access to the best and most up to date material available. Our course material is updated throughout the year as the latest trends develop with one complete update done each year. Our ongoing updates include the newest announcements for each season from Pantone – the leading authority on colour for our industry. Emerald, the colour of the year for 2013 was incorporated into the course material within 1 week of the announcement.
So what exactly does your enrolment give you?
- A Tutor is assigned to work with you to successfully complete your course. They will answer any questions you may have and give you full feedback on all your assignments
- Elearning material including course notes, podcasts, videos and assignments
- Work experience opportunities on some of the UK's premiere industry events, as well as some wedding shadowing opportunities for those students showing a strong aptitude
- An unlimited license to our Wedding and Event Planning Software Valued @ £75 (available once the course is fully paid) At time currently only available for use on a PC
- A 3 month license to 3D Event Designer Software valued @ £50 (available only with the Advanced Diploma, Diploma in Wedding Planning, Styling and Design and the Certificate in Event Design upon reaching the relevant unit.) This license includes full training on the software which is incorporated as part of the course and training.

- Access to the Career Centre including our Job Board updated fortnightly
- Membership to Wedding and Event Pro the Social Centre for wedding and event professionals from around the globe

Many Academy students like to work at their own pace at a time and place that suits them. However, there are also many students who have a set time period that is much shorter with a goal of launching their business within the next 4-6 months. This type of study requires more structure and guidance from our tutors, which is why we have launched our Fast Track Flexible Study Program.
