THE COURSE DETAILS

From when a client first approaches you to help them create, plan and design a first class event, you will experience firsthand the demands and requirements that come with being a Planner and Designer within the events industry. You will also have the option to work with our event design software as part of your course materials to help you bring the design of events alive.

Your course will include 40 assignments, 17 of which are based on corporate event briefs, 10 on event design, 8 wedding planning briefs and 5 business related assignments that will help you to launch and market a new business . These assignments will lead you through every stage of planning a wedding or event. You will be expected to treat your tutor as your client and the assignments you submit as your proposal. Effectively you are building yourself a portfolio as you make your way through the course, allowing you to hit the ground running upon graduation.

Your first set of assignments will relate to the Product Launch of a perfume and to further develop your skills and knowledge you will also be assigned an ongoing Event Design assignment which will be based on a sales conference with the theme of 'Diamond's are a Girls Best Friend'. Finally you will work with a wedding client before putting together your new company. Your mission should you choose to accept it will be to interpret, brainstorm, create a concept, put together a client proposal, draft a budget, design your vision of the event within our software program and produce a client presentation.

These indepth assignments will equip students with the knowledge they need to work as professionals in any area of the Events Industry.
