Whilst the Certificate in Event Design is open to anyone who is drawn to the creativity of ‘Event Design’ we believe it is the ideal course for an existing event professional who wants to combine a love of planning events with the excitement of design. It is delivered online and is a fast paced course we cover all elements of designing an event and teach you to pay attention to the details that take an event from being good, to exceptional. You will learn how to take a brief and develop it into a concept, work with suppliers from the design perspective and use tools such as inspiration boards and design software to help you communicate your design vision to clients and your team.

The Academy has been leading the way in online education for over 10 years and deliver all course via an exciting, interactive Virtual Campus that enables the student to learn from written material, podcasts, videos, webinars, tutorials and more. You will complete regular mini projects throughout the course, so that your Tutor can assess your understanding of what you are learning. You will also complete an assessment at the end of each section of the course and this is your opportunity to apply the skills and knowledge you have gained through the course to a simulated practical task that will give you experience as an Event Designer.
