This online Diploma course is the only one of its kind in the wedding industry and is led by floral pro Dee McMeeking who will teach you how to combine your love of design, flowers and styling ready to launch your business as a Floral & Event Stylist. Floral and event stylists create pleasing artistic compositions, using floral and botanical elements, furniture, tableware, linens and a variety of styling props. They use the principles of design (balance, proportion, rhythm, contrast, harmony, and unity), to create a fully styled event. They may work on projects such as wedding & event florals, editorial styled shoots, still life compositions, or commercial displays.
You will learn how to use flowers as centrepieces, design tablescapes, use inspiration boards, and learn the fine art of floral and event styling along with the business side of things showing you how to price and sell your services, curate images on Instagram and build a client base by creating a strong brand. The average completion time for this course is 6 months, but you will have up to 2 years to finish your course with the support of your own dedicated Tutor.
